I would love to see two things:
1) still hoping to see Inscribable drops in Cantha and Tyria
2) ability to add more weapons into HoM (like BMP skins & any greens)

This. I think they should make Prophecies and Factions match Nightfall/EOTN with the enter mission button removed and the more obvious portals to new places.

What's left?
An equivalent of fow and uw for the other god's shrines, if they make it drop some good lookind stuff and make it so permasins get dmged through SF that could keep people busy for nearly a year.

The creation of content management and development systems and procedures.

This could also be useful for Guild Wars 2.


I mean, we have seen a list of people connected to the Live Team, and it is not that small.

The creation of any kind of new content, areas, bags or even something like a moving collector seems to take months. And the team still has to crunch a lot. Brrr!

Nobody can put ideas and especially good ideas and concepts on a schedule, but maybe there is need for better tools, better procedures or maybe less overhead when it comes to implementing ideas and all that into the game.



Given the described situation, for what can we hope? The team seems to be so small that I do not have hopes for anything major.

Live team did a wonderful job and should be proud. The team that failed epicly was the marketing/sales/pricing team... unless their job was to ruin live's team work putting overpriced tags everywhere. Greedy b*st*rds.

Last content update? I think that was EotN and the bonus missions, this update wasn't a 'content' update. I'm not saying it wasn't one hell of an update, just it wasn't a content update.

What's left to do is that, add some new content. Balance (not live team's job anyway). Perhaps some new quests featuring new skillbars on already existing enemies, quests log & quests title (% of quests completed), new emotes perhaps.

Sucks that the extra storage got ruined either by price or grind. I'd be better off without extra tabs but with an increased capacity in the materials tab and more stackable stuff (runes, inscriptions, etc). That's what I would call a real storage improvement.

Still wanted after this update
* Stackable runes
* Stackable inscriptions
* Increased capacity to materials in materials tab
* 3+ heroes (even if only 3 can be controlled and the rest behave as henchies with custom armor custom weapons and custom skillbars)
* Drop statistics (percentages, totals, etc), wouldn't that be nice? Display them in a new window or just have a /command to display current stats in chat window.
* Jumping! (nah, I'm kidding on this one, jumping is overrated :P)

Note that I said we don't have a _dedicated_ artist for Live Team. We got a lot of help from people who are working on GW2 full time. They work on their spare time. We couldn't have releases this update without their help. Even with reskinning, we would need artist resources, and right now that's pulled from whoever's available to spare time from GW2. That needs to get scheduled and planned with the GW2 team -- who all of course have their own production deadlines to hit.

Some people are missing the Fort Aspenwood end cutscene. It was mostly annoying and got removed.

But now we cannot see it anymore at all, but the work has been done, the cutscene exists, so why not give players an option to watch it?

Gunther has already a text button that allows players to watch the opening cutscene.

The Live Team could add one more button for the ending cutscene, a la

"This is how God's Vengeance is supposed to work".

i only wish for decent pvp modes beside gvg, ra/ta and tombs. i saw npcs getting nuked for too long.

The first two would be so cool though! I've always imagined what melandru's realm must look like. I imagine it as a giant forest. Lyssa's would be like wonderland or something.

I see people asking for skill balance a lot here. What on earth do you want that badly? SF + SY! + CoP Rape? RoJ Nerf? What else? This is getting old...less q.q please.

And on topic, I would kill to have a half decent auction house feature in game.

If not new, fresh armor.... the ability to swap armors skins from one class onto another.

So, a derv could buy ranger or rit-skinned armor, or even paragon or mesmer.

Paragons can finally get armor that doesn't have nice metallic nipples.

Essentially, make any class's armor SKIN available for all other classes, set to the appropriate armor level.

Whoever suggested Zaishen Vanquishing needs a pat on the back. Smart idea.

Repairs to spawning power.

A Zaishen armor skin as reward for Z-coins (100 gold coins and materials? Requirement that the coins be earned in any combination of Z-Bounty, Z-mission, and Z-combat, but needs to include all 3?)
